Oni Communication Device (OCD) Buildable by: Jenquai Explorers, Jenquai Defenders
An Oni Communication Device is required to summon the Zenri Guardian Tempest at the Continuum Wrinkle (near Tetl at x=96.25 y=14.00 z=0.00) in Xipe Totec, Sirius System.

Slagged Oni Communication Device Analyzable by: Jenquai Explorers, Jenquai Defenders, Progen Sentinels, Terran Traders
A slagged OCD must be looted and analyzed in order to obtain the recipes for an operational OCD and its component OCD devices. Slagged OCDs drop from the L36 Oni Fiend, L41 Oni Daeva, L45 Oni Wraith and possibly other Oni mobs in Xipe Totec Sector, Sirius System.

Slagged OCDs can be made manufacturable (analyzable) by taking them to Yasarugi Station on Swooping Eagle Planet, Swooping Eagle Sector, Sirius System. Once taken to Yasarugi Station and made manufacturable they may be analyzed at stations other than Yasarugi.

OCDs are Level 9 Devices and require Master Device Build and Device Tech Level 9 skills to manufacture and install. However, slagged OCDs may be analyzed by players with Device Tech Level 8 skill and possibly lower device tickets. Slagged OCDs are not tradable or storable and are race and profession restricted.

Alcyone has analyzed a slagged OCD and acquired the recipe for an operational OCD, which is assembled from four component devices. These are the Comm Power Source, Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter, Comm Relay Conduit and Comm Shielding Array. Of these four OCD component devices Alcyone has acquired the recipe for the two that are learnable by Jenquai Explorers, the Comm Power Source and the Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter. Toysrus has also analyzed a slagged OCD and and aquired the recipe for the two OCD component devices that are learnable by Terran Traders, the Comm Relay Conduit and the Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter.

The ability to analyze and manufacture the component devices required to build an operational OCD is distributed among the races and professions. The skill to build the OCD itself and the Comm Power Source is uniquely Jenquai. The skill to build the Comm Relay Circuit is uniquely Terran. The skill to build the Comm Shielding Array is uniquely Progen. All three races have the skill to build the Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter.

Comm Power Source - Buildable by: Jenquai Explorers, Jenquai Defenders
The Comm Power Source is a race and profession restricted Level 9 Device. It is assembled from a Veil NGC 8 Reactor and Warlock Channeler Component. Attributes: "This power source was designed by the students of Zeh Len to supply energy to their device that they hoped to use to communicate with their lost master after her mind was captured by an unknown entity in Xipe Totec."

Veil NGC 8 Reactor - Buildable by: Jenquai Explorers
Manufacturable Jenquai Only Level 8 Reactor. Attributes: Max Power 3953 units. Recharge 42.8 units/sec. "Discover the future! Sundari." The Veil NGC 8 Reactor Component of the Comm Relay Conduit is dropped by the Freespacers 45 mob in Ragnarok.

Non-Manufacturable Level 9 Power Converter. Attributes: "Power Converter: Superior Grade. Warlock LTD. Is it Science or is it Magic? Secret manufacturing techniques prevent Warlock Components from being analyzed."

 

Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter - Buildable by: Jenquai Explorers, Jenquai Defenders, Progen Sentinels, Terran Traders
The Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter is a Level 9 Device. It is assembled from Reclaimed Manes Essence, Daeva Photon Emitter, Wraith Neurotropics, and Oni Bioflux Pheromone components. Attributes: "This combination of Oni parts will serve as the transmitting agent in the Oni Communication Device."

L6 Reclaimed Manes Essence
Level 6 Component. Attributes: "The psionic detritus left over after a manes is destroyed." L6 Reclaimed Manes Essence can be manufactured by Progen Sentinels only, using an L6 Manes Reclaimer device obtainable from NPC vendor Ort in the Lounge on Arx Spartoi Station, Endriago Sector, Gallina System.

Non-Manufacturable Level 8 Component. Attributes: "A glowing piece of the Daeva Oni."

Wraith Neurotropics
Non-Manufacturable Level 8 Component. Attributes: "A piece of the brain from the Wraith Oni."

Oni Bioflux Pheromone
Non-Manufacturable Level 8 Component. Attributes: "Pheromones from the Oni Fiends."

 

Comm Relay Conduit - Buildable by: Terran Traders
The Comm Relay Conduit is a race and profession restricted Level 9 Device. It is assembled from a Bald Eagle engine and a Quark Optical Relay Component. Attributes: "This conduit channels and modifies power from the source to the shielding and transmission modules. This design was created by the students of Zen Len following her tragic accident."

Bald Eagle Engine - Buildable by: Terran Traders, Terran Warriors
Manufacturable Terran Only Level 8 Engine. Attributes: Thrust 175 units. Warp 4000 units. Signature 5.3K units. "GETCo: Continuing our 500 year tradition of sustainable development. When equipped this item gives an increase to your manuverability and increases your missile range." The Bald Eagle Engine Component of the Comm Relay Conduit is dropped by the Thorvald 46 mob in Ragnarok.

Quark Optical Relay - Available from NPC Station Vendors
Non-manufacturable Level 9 Electronic Item. Attributes: "A superior performance optical relay for light powered devices or light driven computer systems. Another sound product by Quark. Secret manufacturing techniques prevent Quark components from being analyzed."

 

Comm Shielding Array - Buildable by: Progen Sentinels
The Comm Shielding Array is a race and profession restricted Level 9 Device. It is assembled from a Sumter Shield and an Evolver Icebox component. Attributes: "This device was to shield the Oni Communication Device from outside interference and to keep considerable energies contained."

Sumter VIII Shield - Buildable by: Progen Sentinels, Terran Traders
Manufacturable Progen Only Level 8 Shield. Attributes: Capacity 43029 units. Recharge 272.9 units/sec. "SPARTA! When the Call comes, be ready. When activated on a targeted group member this item gives them a short term BOOST to the target's shield regeneration. When equipped this item causes an increase to your ships psionic vulnerability, but gives an increase to your Powerdown Skill." The Sumter Shield VIII component of the Comm Shielding Array is dropped by the CL 50 Bio-Extractor mob in Shephard.

Evolver Icebox - Available from L9 NPC Station Vendors, Buildable by: Jenquai Defenders, Jenquai Explorers, Progen Sentinels, Terran Traders
Manufacturable Level 9 Shield Casing. Attributes: "An Aserium plated casing inside an Arthurian Plastic coated casing. Liquid Noxion flows between the two casings. Always Innovation, Always Evolving, Evolver."
