Download Earth and Beyond Screen Saver Beta V1.0

I am currently working on a freeware Earth and Beyond Screen Saver to serve as a memento and remembrance of our beloved game for us all. I would like make this screen saver project open to others in our community who would like to participate as content authors, and I will provide an email address here soon that other players can use to send me their favorite screen shots as email attachments.

To run this beta version screen saver on your Windows System, simply download it to the \system32 directory in your Windows files where your other Windows screen saver files are installed. The path to that directory on my XP system is WINNT\system32 (Windows install default) but your own may be different depending on the flavor of your operating system and how it was set up when it was installed.

My hope is that this beta will serve as a motivation and idea starter for others. If you are interested in participating in this project please start taking and saving cool screen shots, or perhaps you already have taken some during earlier play that would be suitable.

If you don't know how to take EnB screen shots, that is done by simply pressing the [Scroll Lock] key (next to the [Print Screen] key - Lol go figure). That will store the screen shot as a sequentially numbered JPEG format file to your Program Files\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\output directory. The top level of this path may also vary depending on where you installed the EnB software on your system if you did not install it into the Program Files directory.
